Phir wahi raat hai
There are some favorite songs of mine especially the ones in 70's and I haven't seen the picturization of them and it is just the songs that I have heard.
I somehow wouldn't even want to see the picturization ever as I cherish the song so much for what and how it sounds to me.
This is one of such songs :
Kishore Kumar - Gulzaar - RD Burman make the magic in this song.
Very few are gifted to write down the most delicate feelings in a most beautiful way to touch the heart. Lyrics in this song are written that way.
"masoom si neend mein jab koi sapna chale
humko bula lena tum palko ke parde tale
yeh raat hain khwaab ki, khwaab ki raat hain"
raat hai khwaab ki, khwaab ki raat hai....
"kaanch ke khwaab hain aankhon mein chubh jayenge
palko mein le na inhe aankho mein rut jayenge"
Hmm..
"raat bhar khwaab mein dekha karenge tumhe
phir wahi raat hain"
I don't how the song fits in the movie, but sometimes the song sounds to me as if the guy sings the song in a way to express how fond he is to see his beloved in his dream;that it is again one of the same nights, he dreams about her, or whether a disappointment that it is one of the same nights he dreams about her and is not actually with her. (woh..ye raat hai khwaab ki..raat hai khwaab ki, Phir wahi raat hai)
Jo bhi hai, I love the lyrics, the voice, the song, the soulful music, the emphasis and pronounciation of words in certain places through out the song.
Poets are so gifted that several such songs can be written given just one topic.
